Cornet’s Prinz

Possibly the best son of Cornet Obolensky, he boasts a high-level track record in show-jumping and is proving himself as a sire as well.

Performance

Under Guido Klatte Jr Cornet’s Prinz was crowned German Champion and took silver in the German Young Rider Championships. He was also no. 11 in the prestigious “Sires of the World” event and has placed internationally in 1.55m classes before a knee injury forced retirement to stud.

In 2009 he was awarded the main premium from the Oldenburg International Springpferdezuchtverband.

Pedigree

Cornet’s Prinz is probably the best son of the Champion stallion, Cornet Obolensky (semen also available through Iconic Sires). Not only did Cornet Obolensky place in most of the top European competitions, but he was part of the German Nations Cup winning team at Rotterdam 5* where he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix. He also won the CSI 3* at Cervia, and as a nine-year-old was the youngest member of the German showjumping team at the Beijing Games.

The pedigree of Cornet’s Prinz’s dam is strictly focussed on performance via the greats Almox Prints, Polydor and Grannus.
