Donthargos can best be described as the free jumping sensation at the 2019 Oldenburger stallion approvals. He was awarded the title of a premium stallion and was praised for his quick reflexes and athletic scope.
Donthargos’s sire, Don Diarado, won the bronze team medal at the 2018 World Championships in Tyron. He competes at the top level in showjumping with his rider Maurice Tebbel and was shortlisted for the German championship team for the Tokyo Olympic Games which sadly were postponed due to Covid 19.
Dam, Carla, is by the leading sire Conthargos whose career was unfortunately cut short due to injury, but not before he won the Deister Championships with a score of 9.5, effortlessly qualifying for the German Championships. He has since proven himself as a top producer having already sire more than 10 licensed stallions and grand prix winners. The success of his offspring propelled him into the elite group of the world’s best jumping sires according to WBFSH.
Donthargos is the full brother to Don Tryon, 2018 Oldenburger stallion champion.
