Sire, Casall, had a hugely successful competition career. Considered as one of the best sons of the great stallion Caretino, under the saddle of the Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengsston he won over €1.8 million on the Global Champions Tour alone. He was the overall winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour (GCT) in 2016, winning not only the final in Doha but also the Paris and Valkensward legs. The previous season, he won the Rome and London GCT grands prix, and was third in the GCT rankings at the end of the season; throughout his career, he won or finished on the podium in a GCT grand prix 22 times. At the age of 18 he was still winning grands prix and competed against his own 5* progeny.
The elegant dam Canturana brings yet another well acclaimed stallion; Canturo, who already produced many international 1.60m GP horses. Some examples are the powerful and scopey mare Zypria S (Willem Greve) and the jumping phenomenon Good Luck (Cian O’Connor). Canturo, a son of the famous Holsteiner stallion Cantus is highly listed in the WBFSH rankings and can also be found more and more often on the dam side of many 1.60m GP Horses.
The dam line continues with the valued blood of Acorado I and Ramiro, as we subsequently get to the well-known mare Walesca (v. Landgraf I). This mare lays the foundation of many international sporthorses and many approved stallions, such as the Heartbreaker son VDL Groep Zidane (Leopold van Asten).
